Start your Spiti adventure early morning from Manali. Drive through the newly built Atal Tunnel and cross the mighty Kunzum Pass (4,590m) to enter the Spiti Valley. Arrive at Kaza by evening. Check into your hotel/homestay and acclimatize to the high altitude.
After breakfast, visit the iconic Key Monastery, perched on a hilltop overlooking the Spiti River. Proceed to Kibber village and later visit the Chicham Bridge, Asia's highest suspension bridge. Return to Kaza for the night.
Today, explore the high-altitude villages of Spiti. Visit Langza, known for its giant Buddha statue and marine fossils. Send a postcard from Hikkim, the world's highest post office. Finally, visit Komic, the world's highest village connected by a motorable road.
Leave Kaza and drive back towards Losar and Kunzum Pass. From Batal, take the off-road trail to the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake (Moon Lake). Spend the evening walking around the lake and enjoying the changing colors of the water. Overnight stay in camps near Chandratal.
Wake up early to catch the breathtaking sunrise over Chandratal Lake. After breakfast at the campsite, begin your journey back to Manali via the rugged Rohtang Pass or Atal Tunnel route. Arrive in Manali by evening and check into your hotel.
Enjoy your final breakfast in the mountains. Check out from the hotel and spend some leisure time exploring Manali's Mall Road or Old Manali cafes before departing for your onward journey with incredible memories of Spiti Valley.
